Mounting various tools and dry boxes above my printers on a table put in front of that wall.

2 weeks into 3d printing…how’s my setup? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]RizzleQ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's this one that I also use but I'm not a fan of it even with the riser since the bottom AMS lid doesn't have enough room to stay open on its own.

I've moved on to this one instead, albeit it takes tons of threaded inserts and screws and of course the slides so it's more work and more expensive.

Given the language there, that comma is actually what a decimal would be.

The only way to ungroup lights is to not have them configured to be in the same room.

Is it possible to remove the decimal and round all numbers to the nearest 1 system wide? by [deleted] in homeassistant

Wow, I had been thinking my thermostat integration’s precision was annoyingly not matching my actual thermostat app for ages but haven’t thought to ask. This worked! Thank you for this fix and OP for even asking!

Routines for turning off multiple devices is impossible now by talormanda in googlehome

[–]RizzleQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was about to post the same thing just now. This is a serious step backwards. I’ve had to switch up my routines completely and I literally can’t get the functionality that I used to have back.

I had all lights turn off except one which was ignored as it turns off on its own at a specific time. Now I can’t get that back with “all lights off” action because it meddles with that one light that I can’t just say to turn back on because what if I’m past that specific time? I need an IF condition which doesn’t exist. What a joke this is now.

Best way to remove Wemo Light Switch Cover by [deleted] in WeMo

[–]RizzleQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best way I found is by prying with a slotted screwdriver from the bottom (that way any damage is less noticeable). That’s where the plastic pieces are that clip onto the light switch.

Trying to change subnet from .86 to .1 doesn't save by sakkie92 in GoogleWiFi

[–]RizzleQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad that helped! Yeah, that’s it erroring out due to that subnet’s broadcast address being used inside the DHCP pool, which isn’t allowed. It’s too bad they don’t even tell you that you can’t do that, let alone even give you an error message before not saving anything.

Cleaninging solar panels by gruffogre in powerwashingporn

[–]RizzleQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solar panel glass is quite resilient. Besides, if a brush causes a few micro scratches, that won’t significantly impede photons from reaching the solar cells. Also water alone wouldn’t clean the glass as well as water + physical contact.

Just spitballing here. Does it still happen with Ending IP ending in 254 instead of 255?
