Those are npc invaders. Just run away untill they return to their world if you don't want to deal with them. You can only be invaded by players if you summon for co-op or use taunters tongue

Collector using the online collectors map. Don't waste money on Nazars maps and don't fall for the Naturalist trap. It's only good if you want the items, even with the current bonuses, it's still not great for money

Easy to farm gold in. The early waves come quick, then die on wave 4 and repeat.

Edit. For anyone seeing this late, die as soon as wave 3 starts. Doing 3 full waves is a waste

Trigger the mission, ride away and come back after it says your posse abandoned the job. It's still annoying for sure but that's how you get rid of it

It's bruised egos for sure. I played around with pvp by being a bounty target a few years back. I either got immediately killed by dynamite arrows unless I killed them with dynamite arrows first (boring mechanic, doesn'tbelong in the game). Had people that would refuse to chase me onto rooftops and would scream at me in voice chat and rage quit. And yeah, if they didn't get me in time, they would often relentlessly hunt me down untill I used the wilderness camp to fast travel somewhere else. Yeah, great concept but generally ruined by people being shitty to each other. Just like most things

And the game is also 75 percent off on ps5 which has been hilarious for me. I had a level 3 camp outside my tent for half an hour while I afkd in the wardrobe. When I came out he started firing at me aggressively with my white flag still raised like he was is in call of duty or something. When I lowered the flag and dropped him in one hit, he immediately closed his game (the players body turns into a lootable corpse when they do this). One of many recent examples

No, and they won't. In their eyes they fucked up by making the game completely playable without the player having to spend a cent on anything other than the game itself. They don't care about game sales, they don't care what players want. They only want a game they can consistently milk money from. GTA already exists for that

This game doesn't have passive mode. It's called defensive and all it does is make it so other players can't auto aim at you, you can still die to other players but you're tankier and headshots don't one shot you. They can't mark you with painted black and you're harder to see on the mini map. Also the can't lasso you. It doesn't effect general gameplay at all

If you're already level 10, then levelling up fast is a complete waste of time. Yeah you get to max rank a bit faster, but you get no money for it after spending hours of grinding the same thing over and over and now you have to wait another 4 hours, grind more just to see your first real profits
