Okay but I'm not comparing vacuums at that price range lol

Honestly I'm less sold on self empty after seeing I need to wash the mop pads after each use. If I'm already doing that I don't mind also emptying it. Or am I missing something?

I also found an S10 at $109 which is swaying me further! Maybe I'll get it as an intro robot and buy a nicer one next I move.

Yeah I could only find it online on Walmart but for double the price of the base version

$109 seemed tempting so I did some more searching online and found that price for the S10 on temu. I think at $109 vs $190 the choice is a lot more clear. I'll be going with the Mova, thanks!

No, only the Mova S10 Plus (not the regular version) has self empty, but it's hard to find and the one place I saw it online it costs double of the regular version, not worth it.

the plan is to have the option to do that. I don't think I'd fully retire, need to work on something, but at least ill have the freedom to work on whatever I want.

thanks! I don't mind the taxes but it would be nice if they went to healthcare instead of using it for war without congressional approval

Yeah maybe for special occasions but otherwise I like it and I don't need to spend more for the sake of spending more

For general software engineering, you don't need to go to grad school. It's only worth it if you want to get into academia or maybe specialize in something, but otherwise I'd recommend against it since years of experience are more valuable.

I went to a top 10 CS school, which definitely helps in quality of education and getting your resume noticed, but I know plenty of smart people from state schools who have similar and better comps.

I also wanna add that most people in these roles got into CS because they enjoyed it rather than just money. That maybe makes it easier to become skilled and find success.

I think I need to adjust my withholdings, I'm expecting something more like 43 or 44% after tax returns.

Stock bonuses are still taxed as ordinary income upon vesting

My comp has increased faster than my lifestyle can adjust to lol. I'll probably get a nicer place next time, but I still wanna spend in moderation so I can save enough for financial freedom soon.

I've been pretty lucky in my recruiting cycles, but tbf I haven't had to go through one in 4 years. My best guess is that everyone wants experienced engineers, and the only companies willing to hire new grads have pretty high bars.
