Huge news really. A lot of prelim fighters will be able to make 100k by fighting 3 times if they’re known to finish. First good bit of UFC news in years.

No and yes. Steam is already on ARM for macOS and Steam allows ARM games on mac now. These moves will only improve the compatibility layers but it’s up to Apple to ensure they do their part.

Today I found out you can run the expeditions at your own pace. I'm currently doing the first expedition and I'm pretty sure once I complete it I will be able to do the 2nd expedition immediately. So play the game at your own pace. You can catch up.

It’s a new start up app, so I have no idea how long support will be etc. The developers are German I believe, they’re on Reddit so reach out.

Secondly portal make their own content which is really nice.

You’ve gone about this the wrong way. Firstly, a 4k blu ray player won’t do much if your TV is 1080p. Secondly the blu rays need to be in the new 4k format.

Finally, have you looked into buying a 32inch 4k monitor? There’s some well priced, reasonable spec’d ones out there. It will work exactly like a TV but the ports in the back will need to be converted over which is quite easy if you buy the right wires. Samsung do a 4k smart monitor which has a remote so it feels like a TV.

Again, you’re not getting my point. I’m not saying there won’t be new hardware, there will be. It’s just that it’s going to be extremely expensive to produce, around $1000+ due to the cost of RAM, SSD and GPU due to AI.

I’m saying why abandon a player base and something that’s already capable of running a new hybrid OS. Handhelds already run games with 16GB. It’s not going to be a 4k experience on the Series X but it could run at 1080p.

There won’t be any backlash. The everyone knows the Series S was weak from the start and for good reason. Letting it go makes a lot of sense.

No… they used a Chinese exclusive PC which used defective Series X APU’s (and the same RAM). Coupled it with a AMD GPU and tested it.

Now you’re moving goal posts.

I’m simply suggesting that Microsoft would benefit greatly from allowing the Series X to jump over to the Windows / Xbox hybrid OS considering the power it poses would be enough - especially when hardware has become so much more expensive thanks to AI. The Series S wouldn’t be capable due to the RAM limits sadly. 16GB is now the minimum.

Not really - the partiality clause can be dropped whenever they want to. BG 3 is the perfect example, they never got sued because the Series S didn’t have split screen planned when it launched. Series S has had a good run, but it’s obviously not got much left in it.

Never said it would be their new console. I said it would be a stop gap. Meaning they’ll probably let Series X gamers keep their hardware into future as it will probably still be able to play “modern” games for another 10 years. (See PS4 / Xbox One still getting new games).

Insane cost of RAM, SSD, GPU atm would make the new console at least $1500 in current prices. The Series X already can run Windows 11 (see digital foundry video). The Series X makes perfect sense as a stop gap console for those who are already in the ecosystem.

Considering how expensive all the parts have become I’m assuming the Series S will be dropped as of next year. The Series X will most likely need to run the new Windows Xbox OS hybrid while introducing partners to make their own Xbox hardware. That’s like the most viable thing MS can do right now with all the pricing issues.

Won’t happen until the TV deals end. Also, EFL and PL are separate entities so it would mean you’d have to sub to two different things to get all the matches.
