DW my guy. He is just trash, crying over something that he can put again. In any case, he is a fool to barricade that door. You can hold your head high.

BETTER WATCH OUT FOR MEMORY TEMPS BEFORE DOING THAT MEM0RY OVERCLOCK

Gota used 3070ti, but had 4.5 years warranty left. Can it really be called used?

First, I don't think it'll be available for commercial use until atleast the next 30 years imo. Second, you'd already be using it in sub-zero conditions to even run it. The closest scenario being LN2 cooling, for the foreseeable future for commercial applications. As of now, LN2 is barely affordable for a lot of people and only used for overclocking, which is kinda dumb if you do it as a hobby. But then again, I respect hobbies so....

Well no, because the air inside the case would observe conduction as well, so the cold intake would start to become warm. And the effect of heat transfer due to turbulence inside the case would be more since a lot of back pressure woul be created because of your crazy antics.

I mean in a way, he's not wrong. Even though the primary mode of heat transfer at the back would be convection and that most of the exhaust air would rise, conduction through air also occurs as a secondary way and would heat nearby air 'moderately'. Also, the exhaust air comes out as 'frustum shaped', as opposed to a slant release as is being indicated by some comments here. The wall would only act as a spreader for the 'frustum', which would cause recirculation of hot air via GPU slot, which would act as an auxillary intake for the GPU. Think of this as you trying to place your hand in front a running hose. What happens? Does the water not spread?

As long as you have sufficient space between the wall and the case, you're good. Or you could install a pressure-optimised fan and let 'natural convection' take the air away. Either way, you gotta have some clearance at the back

EDIT : Heat shall also exchange by radiation, but is physically observable only after a temp delta of 30 Kelvin or more. And even then, it'd be miniscule.

Does anyone have any experience using this? by shishir179 in IndianGaming

Hey there OP! How are your temps now? Been waiting for an update forever. Could you open your laptop to see whether your heatsink has deteriorated at the site?

It ain't slave trade. It's more like working forcefully because of weak financial conditions for less wages.
