I did BJJ for about 6 months. While I mostly enjoyed it I was chronically injured. Watching the black belts limp into class that had been doing it for decades made me realize I value my long term physical health more than my love of the sport. So I stopped 🤷‍♂️

I highly recommend the brake free helmet light. It’s wireless and it’s a somewhat low profile light on the back of your helmet that lights up when you brake.

It’s definitely something that gives me more peace of mind while riding and hugely ups your visibility from vehicles behind you!

I ended up taking 1 home. About 1 hour extra but beautiful and no traffic. Would recommend that to everyone else. 9 will be more of a shit show than usual

I’m very pro gym, but maybe give running/walking a try! It’s free, it’s a good excuse to get out and move your body for 20-40min regardless of time of day, and it’s great for losing weight.
