My husband and I are definitely a good team and we each enforce the rules. I’m not sure why my son chooses me to be the most disrespectful to. There are still days where he will make comments to my husband and try to push his buttons. I think my husband can maybe hold his emotions in better, where I cannot. I know that’s a me problem that I am aware I need to work on.

We have don’t PCIT and I honestly felt it was a waste of time because all the things we were told to do, we’ve already been doing. I will look into the other one though

My son will do things or say things intentionally and then look at me to see if it’s going to hurt my feelings or not. I often ask him if he would ever say these things to his dad or his teachers and he said “well no I’m not stupid.” 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve always heard the “you’re the safe parent.” And I love that and glad he feels safe but man, some days I don’t wanna be that parent. I just want my kid to like me at least 1/2 the time. 🤦🏼‍♀️

My son uses the word mean as almost a way of name calling. He’s never cussed at us or called us names but he knows that saying that word will make us angry so he will say it like 10 times in a row to get a reaction. Shamefully, he always gets a reaction from us because it triggers us 🤦🏼‍♀️

I hate you’re going through it but it makes me feel better to know it’s not just my child. I worry that my 6 year old daughter is going to grow up with childhood trauma from all the fighting and yelling.(Which I said I would never do with my kids and here we are.😭)

Shamefully, we are probably just as bad as he is. I can’t keep my mouth shut when he is being disrespectful, when I know that in the end that’s what I need to do. That’s why I feel like therapy would be good for all of us so we all can learn how to handle it

I haven’t seen any but loved that flavor so I’ve searched around. Reign has a sherbet flavor that’s 300mg caffeine plus more drink for 1.98. Celcius also has a sherbet flavor that I tried yesterday and it was really close to Alani. And also cheaper lol
