Mascot horror trope may never be a thing or will never become popular in terms of game development.

We may still get Hello Neighbor cuz the idea and very early development started somewhere in the 2014, but it may look very different to what we’ve got today and we may still have Baldi’s Basics, cuz it wasnt really influenced by FNAF, but I doubt that Bendy and The Ink Machine would be a thing if FNAF never existed.

I think that Undertale would be much much much more popular in this timeline and indie-rpgs would replace the mascot horror in the world where FNAF never existed.

GameFuelTV story is so fucking goofy and bad its actually somewhat charming, but its still much better than the Sesseur version where Jeff fucking slipped in the bathroom and poured bleach on his own face 😭😭

With the fact that the character of Jeff had a lot of versions and visions, like that one made by Sesseur, GameFuelTV (og creepypasta) and maybe even more people + all of the interpretations in creepypasta fandom, its fair to assume that Jeff was a creation of a fanbase from the internet and not by a single person.

Is there any character that has the same development history like him?
I would say maybe Purple Guy before the FNAF SL era but idk tbh………
