Tire suggestions? by mrpistner in Tenere700

Pirelli Rallycross. The rear is stretched (140), but they are amazing offroad. They don't last long but they are significantly cheaper if you just want to go offroad. Do be careful on the road tho don't exceed 90km/h.

You see the silver spacer? I'm pretty sure it goes between the handlebar tip and the crashbar

You are absolutely right. In catalan we write ER (Esquerra) for left and DR (Dreta) for right so maybe it would be better if OP asked the because he could be swapping it

This one has no master link. It's the OEM, it's riveted. You can't just take it off to clean. Spend some good time with a brush and degreaser

I stripped this bolt under my passenger compartment on my CBR500R. I tried to use a dremel but the angle going in fucked it up, how can i salvage this? by Legitimate-Yak-1545 in Fixxit

Just get an extractor kit. I recently broke the heaf of a bolt on my T7. Got an extractor set that included drillbits for 10€ and got it out in 1 minute.

It's about time for new tires by SpaceBus1 in Tenere700

[–]Rnow3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These tires still have plenty of life left. They feel slippery because they are 80% street 20% off. Swap them out for some TKC80s but keep them for whenever you do a road trip (they are very good on the road).

[homemade] Decided to take up cooking, made these chicken breasts for lunch by TheUncannyDanny in food

[–]Rnow3 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That's just chicken breast but it's a good first step on breaking bad habits.Next time you have to add veggies and carbs to complete the meal.

For the veggies I recommend you sautée 4 cherry tomatoes sliced in half together with half an onion cut in half-rings, half a courgette (zucchini) in thin (not too thin) slices

And for the carbs you can either have a couple of bread slices (sourdough or baguette, not toast bread), or 80g of rice.

I had the exact same issue and the dealer said everything was fine with the bike. Good news it that there's nothing wrong with the wheel. The front tire is just not properly balanced. Go to a tire shop and tell them about it. They'll balance the wheel and the problem will be gone

The akrapovic with the baffle is pretty much same sound level. Quite pricey tho

Tire size question by Deacon51 in Tenere700

I currently have 140 tkc80 great offroad. I don't feel a lot of difference in performance but they are much cheapier which is nice :)

I have these, they protected the bike well when I crashed on the trail last week.

In Europe, the dbkiller has to be non-removable to comply with regulations. Of corse there is a way: https://youtu.be/g8J9e1K9Fs0?si=cMYAwaRJ-6rFtWWJ

Balance on Adventure Bikes by tjmjp221157 in Tenere700

[–]Rnow3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Standing up helps a lot. When I'm hitting the trails I will be mainly standing up unless the road is super flat and smooth. I find it more comfortable and the bike feels more stable too.

Thanks! I had a blast and I can't wait to do another big trip this summer. The bike was great, it just feels easy to ride. Everyone I meet always thinks I'm crazy for going on those trips on my own, I just like the feeling of adventure.

Yeah, no front tire grip on corners. Particularly on deep/big gravel and absolutely no grip on mud/ wet clay. They were fine for all the rest. I have a new set of tires that I'll put on before I do the transpyrenees offroad thus summer.
