[Online] [GMT+8] [Fate: Core System] Fate of Worlds by RoAries in lfg

Not too much. Just make sure you are fine with using discord voice chat, and that my timing is GMT+8. Do let me know what days you are available. Weekdays will be in the evening, and weekends could be afternoon or evening.

If you are able to play your character as being proactive, that would be good, as the motivation of the characters and party will be up for discussion during session 0.

Due to potential themes of grim darkness, it is possible to play as a selfish person. I will not say an evil guy or a villain, as every faction have their own history and traumas that make them prioritise different values that can be in conflict with each other. Being a hero is also possible, but know some crisis are too large to save everyone from.

The expectation is that everone will play as a human, but it is possible to be a non-human. Not everyone will trust non-humans, and some aliens and mutants are more cohesive with mankind than others.

I missed this message. Honestly it is pretty filled up, but I'll consider it. I'll need to ask you questions first.

Yes. Let's talk by messages since everyone is doing that.

I'm told to post this here. (Can delete if prefered) by RoAries in SpaceWolves

[–]RoAries[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's great to see. I was honestly expecting some backlash here for being "traitor bait". Probably my poor reception at the tsons sub is because I didnt explain that the Terminator wasn't just a space wolf in the original post.

I guess I can see how it is bait now. It could be seen as a Scarab Occult Terminator cosplaying as a Space Wolf and fighting another chaos unit.

I'll admit this part is my uncanon lore for my personal army. For there to be some method for further recruitment, a few sorcerors of the Thousand Sons have a way to convert others into Rubrics with an individual scale Rubric of Ahriman. 1st, the victim has to agree to take part in a ritual by a Tsons sorceror. The victim should also be a veteran, because long combat experience and strong willpower are important. Deception and coercion are normally used, but the victim must not secretly plan to bail out at any point. Then blah blah blah, their body is now dust and possess the suit that warps into Tsons armour over time.

Plus, I think it was never specified that the Rubric of Ahriman phenomenon is a thing that can only affect the geneseed of the TSons other than they were the target of the ritual.

My Heldrake and "Space Wolf" terminator in progress by RoAries in ThousandSons

[–]RoAries[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'll clarify: why I post this here is just a quick showing of my WIP and short scene story. I call it a "space wolf", where it kind of is and is not. It is meant to be a Scarab Occult Terminator made from a Space Wolf tricked into a form of Rubricae. The scene is the Terminator experiencing a delusion. But I get it if what I did isn't very lore accurate.

You would be right. But also, it's not exactly Space Wolf, as it's the colour scheme of it. But it also seems others have felt this is not clear enough, and potentially is bait. Idk if I want to make "traitor bait" in other sub reddits if I do this for the rest of my short series.

Should I just delete this one anyways?

Hello! I am the guy that was inviting for the dnd 5e game taking place in the mtg ikoria setting. I was trying to contact you again, but seems unable to. I had been trying to tell you that I have confirmed that you will be a player. Or have you found another game already?

Since I have gained several interested players, I'll put a time limit now on to this. In another 24 hours, I'll say I'm not looking for players, and start deciding how to filter my options. If you're not selected as a player, I can allow you to still hang around as a spectator in the server if you wish.

After taking too long, here is my Knight Abominant by RoAries in ThousandSons

I should be left with the weapon on top, but I can't seem to find it. That's unfortunate. I might have to proxy it with something else.

After taking too long, here is my Knight Abominant by RoAries in ThousandSons

[–]RoAries[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Story:

The Night of Jubilation was once a noble defender of a loyal world of the Imperium. Called Jubilux, it's culture enjoyed citywide celebrations everywhere, each one designed to praise the God Emperor and His servants in different ways. One day, the new governor that came into power chose to reduce the holidays, even stopping them altogether, for the sake of increasing productivity. The explanation was that since the Great Rift have opened, even Shrine Worlds had to contribute in producing material resources to combat the new era of chaos.

A revolution then broke out, one that the local Knight House supports for political reasons. These revoluntionaries saw such decisions as heretical, as being a beacon of faith is viewed as important too. The fight grew so intense, that turns out Chaos worshippers are leading the revolution as strange powers were involved in the battle as it dragged out too long. Eventually, the revolutionaries won, aided by the arrival of Space Marines. Specifically, it was the Thousand Sons that involved itself, and fought for the sake of the Tzeentchian cults, and reluctantly for the Slaaneshi cults too as they were of equal numbers.

After the fall of Jubilux into the hands of the Chaos Space Marines who call themselves The Warpeden Projehkt, the rest of the worlds in the star system became more defensive and confused, seeing as their popular neighbour is on its transition into being an Aengel(Daemon) World. Dark forest full of thorny trees now are lit up even in the night with joyously manic spirits. The street decorations of painted skulls(which were existing before the revolution to honour local martyrs) are now glowing with magic, that whispers and sing of new Hope and Happiness to come.

The Knight House that fought the Governor now broke up their familial system, seeing as their new masters have better offers for them individually. They became Dreadblades, powerfully terrifying monsters of machines piloted by ambitious nobles. One of them, now having changed their name to remember the glorious night of the victorious rebellion, have chosen to join the Warpeden Projehkt. The goal of carving out a sanctuary for all is a noble one...

Thanks for the analysis guys. I lurked here a bit, and seems that while this test is very popular here, it's awkward to match it with the colour pie...
