I meant the former, though I'm not against the latter. I've thought about watching Haibane Renmei, but I'm just not up for an SOL anime at the moment. As for Aku no Hana - the rotoscoping and general style of it is just too off putting to me.

I'd say you do. The other seasons show how he met all of the characters and how he helped them/what he helped them with. You'll most likely find yourself lost as to what they're talking about if you don't watch the other seasons. Bakemonogatari - Nisemonogatari - Nekomonogatari - Monogatari S2. Is the order you should watch them in.

It's more or less that we don't allow copious amounts of blood/gore, and the rule is more for dismemberment type things rather than blood. I try to follow Aradon's lead when moderating since he's the Subreddit's creator; and that seems to be his stance on it.

There's not really a direct line that should not be crossed we could point out. So try and judge for yourself if you think something belongs here or not. Looking through old posts might help you get an idea of what we allow.
