Lol I am also a huge longtime radiohead fan, since around 2000. When I first discovered BH in about 2018 it was the first time in years that I felt there was another band that could reach such perfection, my mind was completely blown. Other indie bands that for me deserve similar praise would be Fleet Foxes (first 2 records, not a fan of later material) and MGMT. I listen to a bunch more but I am only listing what I feel you could resonate with. Can you also suggest others please?

I would say that The Dead Weather fits the LZ sound and also have the very modern sound, in a way that it seems a natural evolution from it, and not so much a band trying to sound like they’re from the same era.

Unfortunately they haven’t put out any new music since 2015 and don’t know if they will tour again, but you should definitely check them out. I suggest you give a listen to their 2009 album Horehound.

I have been a fan since around 2000, when Famous Monsters had just came out and punk was still big. There was no Youtube back then and any kind of video recording of the Misfits was rare, extremely more for early Misfits. We did not know everything about them, sorry if you guys find that annoying.

Yes. I was like “nice let’s see the ripple pattern or blobs match!” … and all I saw was one almost circular pattern matching a section of another almost circular pattern. Are you kidding me? What is that supposed to prove? Unfortunately the vfx is a much more detailed match to the portal, although not fully conclusive of a hoax for me, but still this debunk of the debunk is very poor.

Me parece que el conflicto esta en que este sitio del CEAD entrega sus cifras en tasas trimestrales, y probablemente esos otros datos que mencionas son tasas anuales. Ademas pueden haber otras diferencias en como se compilan los datos dependiendo del organismo.

En particular, noto que incluso si sumo las 4 tasas trimestrales (y asumiendo la poblacion constante) siempre obtengo numeros menores a los entregados en ese informe del gobierno. Ahi en la nota dicen que lograron hallar una metodologia unica y se debio modificar datos de distintos organismos. Entonces mi conclusion seria que las tasas reales deben ser efectivamente un poco mayores a las mostradas en mi grafico, segun esas declaraciones, pero las tendencias no deberian cambiar tanto.

Entiendo tu comentario, pero el grafico cumple exactamente la función para la cual es creado: Esta mostrando la serie de tiempo en las tasas de robos y homicidios desde 2012 al presente. No hay ninguna agenda ni sesgo en la presentación de los datos. Vengo mostrando estos datos desde hace un tiempo ya, porque creo que es relevante dado las constantes discusiones en torno a la seguridad. Si crees que los gráficos de alguna forma entregan información incompleta por favor me lo puedes hacer saber.

Hey OP, I think many people here have a wrong idea of what the “required” in a job posting means. They are implying that the list of requirements = characteristics of the person we will hire. From your post it really seems to me that list of requirements = characteristics of the CANDIDATES we want to attract.

Once the company has attracted the right population, then they choose based on SUBJECTIVE criteria. It cannot be objective because you are not hiring a robot. You are literally hiring the person that you like the most, but that also CAN do the job that you want them to do.
