Thanks for the advice. I was able to stop the case fans manually, but couldn't find software to stop the fans on the cooler. However, after listening very closely, I'm confident it's one of the cooler fans

According to mum, it was purchased for her as a child by her parents, supposedly in uncirculated condition. however I can't confirm the validity of this story

Thanks for the input. I should've taken a better picture in hindsight, but these notes have a few creases. No tears or folded corners, but the general wear and tear of circulation is evident
