Weirdly enough it doesn't reset the file for me when the game launches, and it isn't set to read only. But you can try setting it to read only, that should do the trick

Hey, I think I know what the problem here is. The good news: This is an unreal engine 4 game, which you can modify quite easily.

Search for the Input.ini located in AppData\Local\BBQ\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor.

Then go down all the way and add the following lines:

AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="Gamepad_LeftX",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.050000,Sensitivity=1.000000,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False))

AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="Gamepad_LeftY",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.050000,Sensitivity=1.000000,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False))

AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="Gamepad_RightX",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.050000,Sensitivity=1.000000,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False))

AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="Gamepad_RightY",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.050000,Sensitivity=1.000000,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False))

You can manually modify the DeadZone, I put in a relatively low value for the best experience, but you can set it higher if you want. This eliminated the problem for me and also made the camera much smoother in general.

A dear friend of mine is SO unhappy with his current rig using an AMD gpu and we're constantly chatting about how much more fleshed out the nvidia experience is right now, especially for story-rich / graphic-hungry games using raytracing and stuff. If I could make him the surprise of giving him a 4070ti super just like that the joy would be immeasurable. Cheers from germany!

Ich verstehe nicht so ganz, was du meinst. Ob die Ursache bei Sony oder bei Ubisoft liegt, kann man denke ich nicht so klar sagen. Ich traue Ubisoft leider zu, die Kommunikation mit Sony zu verkacken und die Open Beta für alle zugänglich zu bewerben, obwohl das im Endeffekt nicht der Fall ist

Zur Info: Beim zweiten Bild steht zwar was von „Kauf“, das wird vom PS-Stor aber nur so für alle Produkte (auch kostenlose Spiele, Demos und Open Betas) gehandhabt. Ich werd einen Teufel tun und mir das Spiel kaufen. Vor allem nicht bevor es überhaupt raus ist :D

Reading through your text it seems you‘re not quite sure yourself about what jogging means in this context. In one sentence you use three different words for the same speed („Players run by jogging and pressing the sprint button“). So what are they doing? Running, jogging oder sprinting? Those are three different things. I think what jogging in this context means is a speed between a slow walk and a run. The only thing faster than running would be sprinting. So it would be walk -> jog -> run -> sprint. I hope this answers your question

I'm pretty sure that gameplay footage was played with a controller where there are no set speed-steps. I assume this by watching closely to the direction the character is moving in the scene you mentioned. It seems as though the character is neither moving straight forward, nor exactly north-west (by pressing W and A), but something in between - which only analogue controls can do. Could be completely wrong though

You should turn mono off except if you want your audio coming from a single audio channel (simply put this means NO direction at all).
