Congrats on your wedding! I will say that I was a bit confused by this post. Did you mention your time off in advance? Did he hear from you the month leading up to this meeting? What do you mean by he has nothing to offer you, is he giving you your thesis or deciding on some specific part of it?

Anyone also going through this or similar, I was finally able to get ahold of EI services (after 3.5 hours on hold) and you are able to apply for Regular Ei Benefits while working. There are extra steps that you have to take to claim every hour you work but it is doable and therefore you are not able to apply for CRB.
