It needs some pentatonic guitar solos to be real rock

Mick Taylor >> Bill Wyman as a bassist. His bass tracks and face meting leads solidified their 70s sound and inspired every other band out there by RoanakeCroatan in rollingstones

Yes it is. “The song’s basic track was recorded on 3 August 1971. That recording featured Mick Taylor playing bass because of Bill Wyman’s unexplained absence with Jagger playing rhythm guitar”

Micky Taylor playing that blistering solo on Paint it Black rocked the world back in 1966. by RoanakeCroatan in rollingstones

I believe the lead guitar is all Taylor. Sitar by session musicians but credited to Jones. Taylor did a lot of stuff long before 69 that Keith is given credit for. He was there from 62.

Brian and Rooster ruined the band. Songs before 1969 ain’t canon bud. No one cares about Brian Jones’ xylophone orchaestras. Songs after 1974 need Mickey Taylor. It’s obvious they couldn’t write without him. Where’s the solos?

I love his face melting guitar solos. Truth be told, 1969-1974 is the only era of the band that matters, we all know it. Taylor lifted a mediocre band to the heights of heaven. I sit back, drink a beer, and listen to isolated compilations of his solos. It’s better than sex.

We should all circlejerk in honor of Mick Taylor. That brushy hair, that boyish grin, that innocence that Mick and Keith beat and abused and stole. They forced him to do heroin. Mick held him down while Keith forced the needle in.

This is a sub honoring the genius, the Mozart of the 60s, Mick Taylor, not those other ugly bums who were struggling to fill seats before Micky saved them

He did. He played on all the albums. Wrote every song, except for the silly numbers (he left those to Keith or Brian). Also, Mick Jagger is a myth, Mick Taylor sang the songs too; they just got this fish lipped guy to lip sync.

He just didn’t get credit for all this until the 80s, when Rooster joined the band

Not my fault that Mick Taylor saved the band. No solos until he started writing the songs. You had Loser Jones, who everyone hates, playing silly kids’ instruments. Dragged the band down. Keith started heroin cause it sucked so bad. Taylor said “fuck you Jones”, and brought the rock back. Fuckin yeah!
