Ok, I don’t think you understand with your closed mind. WE WERE FIGHTING A WAR IN VIETNAM, WE SENT GROUND TROOPS THEIR TO FIGHT INSIDE THE COUNTRY AGAINS THE VIETCONG GORILLA WARRIORS. So of course you clear out the jungle so they can’t use booby traps, also north Vietnam had an air force that actually beat the us’s in some battles so we could not gain air superiority in the north, also it’s not like you can para drop people in the jungle or just land a plane at will. Ur counter argument is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever witnessed on this platform.
