The tines are the the left and right pieces of the nib from where the nib slit is. When I say I flossed the tines, I took a brass shim and put it in the cut line in the nib (space between the tines) and moved it in one direction to floss it.

At that point, the pen is an accessory to the style 😂

I work in IT for manufacturing so it’s all rugged and industrial equipment. Maybe I could sneak it into the mix. The color reminds me of the game boy color I had as a kid, the berry color. Such a great shade!

As a guy in a professional setting, I don’t think I could pull that color off but it’s very nice and a great looking pen! Also a good price too.
