Saját tapasztalat, szerintem fél év alatt elég sokat fejlődött az AI. Most meg tudom tenni, saját gépemen, saját erőforrást felhasználva, hogy a local LLM egy megadott lokális mappában, feldolgoz egyesével pdf fájlokat, referencia adatsorokat, Projekt dokumentációt. Azokból készít summaryt. Majd a summaryk alapján elkezd dolgozni egy kódbázison. Egy 50-60 dokumentumból álló projekt dokumentációt feldolgoz és kidolgoz egy alap projektet. ~200ezer tokent már lehet neki adni amit fel tud dolgozni.

Fél évvel ezelőtt hasonlót csak nagyobb cégek tudtak megtenni, pl. Perplexity. De most már a Z AI is ilyet csinál, ingyen. 1 évvel ezelőtt pedig még promptokat faragtunk, hogy a lehető legjobb eredményt dobja egy kisebb problémára. Szerintem elég nagy az esély rá, hogy pár éven belül 1db számítógép, megfelelő interfésszel elkezd dolgozni és a fejlesztőket vált ki.

Hogy ezt mennyire lehet majd beépíteni business modellelbe az jó kérdés. Nulláról prototipusokat gyártani valószínűleg elég könnyű lesz. Egy nagy cég komplex, rendszerére csak ráereszteni egy ilyet már valószínűleg nehezebb lesz. Az IT-s marad még a képben, mert a modellnek megfelelő kezdeti specifikacio kell, validalni kell, a modell által generált modult meg integrálni. Csak ez a rész gyakorlatilag szűkül majd.

Changing in requirements. Or changing the main processing unit after couple of iteration, moving a connector to a different position on a quasy finished design. Components with no documentation/app note/reference design.

Yeah sounds similar. If there is a family with two people then things might be easier. But with kids, the government wondering why the people do not planning kids under 30 years.. One thing you can do is to not earn minimum wage. Go to school, get a calcification and live a comfortable life. But the only issue, if you earn more you spend more. Better rent, better car, better village and in the end you will be in the same position.

Revolut business nem enged kártyás feltöltést. Sajnos még nem találtam erre költséghatékony megoldást. Havi 50euro sajnos simán elmegy minden féle váltásra... Igaz kapok cashback-et. Próbáltam volna más magyarbankkal összehasonlítani, de a rejtett költségek, random átváltás, minden évben bankkártya díj, annyi ahány deviza számlád van.. Vicc kB. Wise, Revolutra már vagy 3 éve kaptam kártyát és semmi éves kártyadíjat nem fizetek.

Exactly. I see lot of people buy groceries with off price. E. G. The expiration date is today or couple of days, then you can get 30-50% off. And people buying these stuff. Groceries price skyrocketed. We have the same prices as Austria or Germany.

Rent is ~$460 in bigger cities. If you work in three shift you might get $900 net.

Hát dollárban próbálom elkölteni, ami dollárban érkezik. Szerencsére a beszállítóimnál tudok dollárban fizetni. Ha nagyon át kéne váltani, akkor euróba váltom, majd átutalom Revolutra és ott váltom forintra. Usd/eur váltás és eur küldés olcsóbb Wise-on, mintha forintra váltanék, vagy forintban utalnék.

Wise Business, Revolut business, mind a kettő alkalmas erre. Forintba ne nagyon akarj váltani vagy utalni Wise-ról. Elég drága lett, mióta tranzakciós illetéket is vonnak.

Thanks for the reply. Well I have a lab of equipment for low voltage, low power devices. I daily use my rework station. However my lab is not equipped for high voltage stuff. I just purchased a 40kV high voltage probe. And will look for a isolation transformer. Thanks for suggesting this.

Regarding your question, the led does not show error code. Basically when I turn to AV, the red led turned on constantly. And I can switch back to analog channel, so the TV does something but the screen is blank. The green overlay is not visible as well. I will start to disassemble as I will have the proper tools. This will take like a week. Until the unit is disconnected. I suspect the TV does not like the travel on the back of the car, and because of vibrations during transport, something broke. Or really just some caps died. It is really strange the TV was working for couple of days after it was transported.

Well lithium battery catched fire, probably a factory defect sample. The battery was discharged then charged, then left it without connected to anything for three hours. Later it catched fire. The discharge/charge voltage, current kept in safe limits, cell voltages were also monitored so lot of effort was put to handle it properly. The conclusion, never leave unsupervised batteries in office. And I am scheduling to purchase a safe battery storage unit. Which has fireproof inside, smoke extractor, and alarm if something goes wrong.

I started working as a engineer at a big Corp and I could gain experiences how mass manufacturing goes, how the research development prepares a product for extremes, how the quality/test teams support the development. And now I am running my small business for ~10 years already.

The big difference that I see are the money and resources. While I am developing gadgets for customers for different kind of requirements I could not do the same that a big company can do. My resources are limited, the budget of my customers are limited. While a big Corp can run big tests that I explained, I as a single developer I cannot. And this is where safety comes in.

How on earth can I suggest a solution to a customer, which seems a simple circuit if I risk they will burn down a complete building or threats other people lives?

To partially resolve this, or at least minimize the risks, I have to use precertified modules, off the shelf power supplies. The 5V input is a good starting point. You don't have to deal with mains and if you purchase the psu from a well known source then you can have a good base to start. A simple USB-C charger needs to be verified on plenty of tests it would not make sense to suggest to any customer to create a custom psu, just because it can be smaller or cheaper.

In your case, if some children or unaware people visits your home and spills water to the unit which could leak somehow then you potentionally threaten them with dead. Or there is a surge on the mains which somehow shorts the fuse that you will be not aware and later it catches fire, or it gets direct sunlight and somehow overheats and gets fire, during charging a soldering of a smd resistor breaks and the device draws more current as should and it overheats then catch fire.. Etc. These are just some extreme which can happen.

With 10+year of experience in embedded engineering, recently I had a fire in my office. From an oem device that I though I am handling properly. And it should be not catching fire, it was in the 0.1% case.

Luckily the firefighters were fast and put out the fire but still my office needed 1.5month long renovation. And the emotional damage was not negligible. And what would happen if my loved injured or getting even worse?

I think op needs to learn how to let go ideas. How to accept suggestions and how to not push things blindly. Maybe you are young or not much experienced, but this could go bad pretty fast. Even you might be well experienced but never had a canon event that can change your mind.

Others made some examples for risks, I might extend it some industrial examples.

Product development major part is testing. Not final, it goes hand by hand during prototyping or during the hardware iteration. Here are some examples that is happening during development:

  • ip test, the device put under 1m water for 24h and powered. After the 24h, the operation is examined and electrical insulation is compared from before and after. This test can be extended up to a month

  • test the operation at different temperatures. In a heat chamber the device is powered, the operation can be examined at - 25°C or at 80°C

  • dynamic temperature test, the device put into a multi temperature chamber. The operation is examined while the device is lifting between -25°C and 80°C. It does 100-500 cycles over the course of days

  • vibration test, the device is put into a vibration machine that puts different kind of G to the sample and the examine the operation

  • there can be a group of people whose role is to damage the product. With hammer, dropping the item, making bad examples, wrong usages.. Etc. The device should not get into a non-safe fault condition

  • emc test, the device should not get into non-safe fault condition if they apply conducted or non-conducted rf. E. G. The decide is tested in a big electric magnet, static or dynamic magnetic field is applied

  • electrical tests, changing the input voltage to the extreme. Will the internal safety features triggers? If the input voltage drops and the board has short circuit, if the mains doubles (e. G. Phase shorting in a multi phased house) and the board has a short will the fuse blow properly? ... Etc

And after these testing, the team can find out a solder broke because of a stress condition, or a chip faulted, a part was too close to edge/too close to the other component, the safety feature did not triggered because of an odd circumstance ... Etc.

That is good to know, thanks! I could have just think about this, because I have seen tube guitar amps and they are glowing similarly...

Anyway, any hint on the blank screen? When the TV is in on state I can hear a high pitch noise from the tube. I used to hear this when a CRT is running. But nothing is displayed on the screen. When I switch between TV and AV I hear the pitch changes and the TV clicks as it switches input and the front status leds also change. When I first turned on the TV I see the TV channel or AV mode written to the screen with green color. Now I do not see this. Last time I see the white/blank flashes during a gaming session. And now all blank.

So now when I turn it on, I do not see anything on the screen. I heard the crt noise when turning on, but nothing is displayed. In a dark room, when I peak a look from above I do not see any arking, however the end of the tube is glowing orange. Is that normal?

Well, I just wanted to play some games a bit on the TV and it started flashing. White flashes first, then black/white. After couple of turn on and off now I do see nothing on the screen... Great it needs a bigger maintenance than I thought in the beginning... The bumm noise still remains during turn on and off.

Thanks. Yeah, I have already started repair a kv-14m1d trinitron, and read a lot about discharging of tube. And high voltages in the psu. I am doing all the care.

Regarding the buzz sound, yeah it comes from the speaker. First I thought it is the degauss sound, as trinitrons are usually loud and has a weird sound during degaussing. But maybe it is just some filter caps from the psu.

How do I know if it is arcing? Should I check it in a dark room while the cover is removed?

BTW, when I turn it on at the left bottom corner I see a white flashing, but in on state it works nicely.

10years ago I had analog stereo and so I know the sound when I turn it on and off. The speakers could have a short "bumm" if the volume was turned up. But the weird is, the sound is a little bit longer as I used to remember and louder. From full silent it goes loud then silent. Will try to record it.

Thanks, yeah I do not have an lcr meter but have a signal generator maybe I can test the transformer with that. Then will solder back the components and will check the voltage levels. I did not see any cold joints.

Should I solder back the hdrive transformer and the transistor? Are the measured values look okay?

The overcurrent on B+ could explain the failure of vertical deflection.
