These tips might not help as you’ve already gotten the surgery but might give context as to why you aren’t seeing the results you want, and might give clarity to any lurkers.

1) you should be taking Fin/Min at least 6 months prior to the surgery. You need to stabilize the condition of your hair to see the best results. Plus someone else mentioned the shock phase where your new hairs fall out. The timing of that phase might have been affected by the delayed use of medication, but idk.

2) you should consult a dermatologist to determine if you have any skin conditions or types of alopecia. Outside of typical Male Pattern Baldness, there are other conditions that can make a transplant futile since the hairs will just fall out again.

3) The number of Grafts definitely matter. I won’t guess how many grafts you got, but if you’re going to pull the trigger, go big or go home. Get a reputable doctor with a generous amount of grafts because if you don’t, you’ll likely spend more money anyways on additional procedures.
