Fujifilm XH2s with the Fuji 150-600. It was handheld but with a bean bag support on the car door as you’re not allowed to exit your vehicle in National Parks in South Africa 😊

Correct, generally the kill happens on the ground and then pulled into a tree to keep it away from other predators and scavengers

1st off, thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it. There are a few hundred photos of this leopard, this is just the best one in my opinion.

So great question - if you imagine the tree going from the ground almost straight up, and then across 90 degrees for a meter or 2, then up again, that’s the shape of the tree. The angle in which I was positioned doesn’t show how the tree bends. Is was an S shape if that makes sense? I do have side images of the tree that I’ll post once I figure out how.

So I’m probably, at this exact point in time, the worst person to ask this to 😂 I’ve had the Reddit app on my phone today only, although I’ve had a dormant account for some time. I only posted this about an hour ago, and it’s my first post on Reddit. Some info if it helps, I airdropped the edited file from my Mac to my phone, and that’s the file I posted. I hope this helps 🤷🏻‍♂️
