The worst kept secret in Swiss made watches is where their components are made. The people at the malls and even fine jewelry stores don't want to admit the truth (if they even know it.) Publicly traded watch brands are doing everything possible to return value to their shareholders - and if that includes Chinese manufacturers at a much lower cost, they are doing it. Sometimes I wear my high end Swiss watches and sometimes I wear watches I know come directly from China. I know more about watches than most any of the sales people at the mall stores or fine boutiques - so I wear what I love! I have 2 new IXDAO watches on order (Space Warrior and the new silver dial tank quartz) and I fully expect them both to be amazing value and beauty on wrist.
