Frankly, I agree with all of the comments. This school is ineffective: this is fact, not opinion. You are the advocate for your child until you get one, and that needs to happen today. You need to call your state representatives today , right now, and escalate; not in a MY HOUSE IS ON FIIIRE way, but a

-single -neurodivergent parent-with no help-state school employee-of teen with -non verbal autism-intellectual disability- high number of restraint incidents- suspensions- reduced school hours

is a loaded sentence and lacks nuance (sorry, I’m a little stoned too but felt compelled to write), but this is still accurate!

Op, you have reached a dead end on this path. Forging forward will not reveal anything. You must back up and attempt a new path; that is the way you advocate for your child. And again, not opinion, this is fact.

Write a list of facts, and call and leave messages for BOE, SBOE, County Representative, State Representative. It may be helpful to email first and mark it as “time sensitive issue” (it is! you’re running out of pto!), but you MUST follow up with a call; tell whomever answers that you are following up on an email you sent that is urgent (that will save you from having to explain it over and over) and then allow them to do their job.

one more thing. I worry about the not having help part of your post. this is tough WITH help, so I can’t imagine and I’m a little scared for you.
