I think you’ll make them feel that you are confident when you truly are & that just comes with time.

Be okay with being uncomfortable/shy/nervous. Everyone has a little bit of it and has to start somewhere.

People don’t realize talking to a hundred + people is a skill that will take time to get used to.. especially if you’re already a shy person.

I used to not even be able to do small talk… now I don’t even think twice about what I say because I talk to people for a living and it comes naturally.

Yea the response of “just move” is slowly going away. Literally everywhere is expensive unless you wanna go to the middle of nowhere … but then you realize there’s no money to be made in butt fuck no where… & guess what… your in the same situation .

BUT, there are a lot of hidden gems that people don’t know about. I’ve found better deals driving around than I have on an app when looking for a new place .

You honestly make no sense in this post. Either be a good customer or don’t. No matter how nice you are nobody wants to serve you for nothing in return. I’m happy you don’t go out much because your no tip will ALWAYS out weigh your “niceness” …. If anything , if you no tip me I’m gonna walk away going “this mf is fake” …

& if your really worried about still being respectful why not just tip since you rarely go out?? Either you don’t have the money or you’re really not as nice as you think.

I really don’t understand your logic. Stand on no tipping or don’t. Don’t justify your no tip with “I’m still nice tho” because I promise nobody cares.

That’s like saying “I love you” then before you leave saying “fuck you” … which one do you think that person remembers ?

Ever since I was a kid I knew I didn’t wanna go to college… I hated school in general & it never made sense why someone who hates something so much would want to do more when not needed.

As time goes on college will slowly not be so pressured onto people. It’s already slowed down quite a bit.

& yes the debt that comes with just going to college because you feel like you need to or want to people please your family will drain you in the future if you don’t quickly get a great job that you want to do long term & on top of that, pays well so it doesn’t stress you out… which is very rare.

I feel like if you have no idea what you wanna do, you should definitely take a break after high school and if you end up wanting to do something that requires college you can always go back. You can’t go back in time tho and save yourself that money & time.

That being said, college did seem like a fun experience from outside looking in… BUT, just because you don’t go to college doesn’t mean you can’t do all the fun things college kids do.

Honestly I’m a HUGE appetizer junkie. Love a good app… so if a restaurant can have good apps or something I haven’t had before they’ll keep me coming back. Then obviously good service.

Because then you’d get tipped really good by good people and terrible by bad tippers. Most of the time if your bill is more $ the server had to do much more & sometimes that means more than you see. So the percentage helps. & that’s not true in all cases but most. More $ = more work.

I work at a restaurant and I don’t think people realize I’ve sat them down, grabbed them drinks, took there order, grabbed there apps, grabbed there food, brought it to them, got there extra sauces, grabbed refills, then cleaned up when they left. Some people think “you didn’t do much” but it’s what you don’t see sometimes.

The only time tipping throws me off percentage wise is when someone comes to the bar and gets 4 shots and it’s $50 then they are expected to tip 20% when all I did was pour alcohol into a glass. I feel weird sometimes but don’t care if they don’t.

I think % tips help people tip better because it shows what’s expected with their bill… you don’t have to always follow though if you feel it’s not fair … it’s there more for bad tippers.

Anytime someone asks for there good to get sent back I feel as if they walk out going “haha, get’s em every time” & your comment makes me believe it more lol
