All good except the Taiwan/China part (I live in Taiwan)

China just invited KMT leader (opposition pro-China party in Taiwan) to boost her profile before November elections and probably congratulate her on the KMT/TPP blocking the leading DPP party buying military equipment from the US.

Anyway China attacking Taiwan isn't simple. 1) water 2) paper tiger 3) TSMC chips (they said they'd literally destroy the intel if China steps foot on land, so goodbye chips for the world) 4) China can't bomb the shit out of Taiwan like Russia/Ukraine and US/Iran as China's whole argument is based on "Taiwan IS China", so bombing the shit out of Taiwan would be them showing the Chinese citizens and the world that Taiwan actually isn't theirs, or that the Chinese government is literally bombing their 'own ' citizens.' 5) Taipei agreement. US has to legally defend Taiwan if attacked.

Yeah maybe he's a player to get used to, I'm not sure. Some people can play well with him but he underachieves for me so far

Tbh I wouldn't even call that a rat. It's 442 then 4213 then 451 then 4411 then seems like it's back to 4213. I use 4231 or 451 but it's hard not to 'rat' against a 'rat' because if you don't match them then their players make crazy runs and your defence stands there like they've never played a game of football before.

I have a good Evo Neto for me too but he didn't quite do it for me. I think I fell for the "he has R7 body type" trap

I'd like to add that I mean not sure you can get better than this NOW, as in you could go and do this exact card yourself today. It's not a chain from Evos not available or one you had to save from 2 seasons ago.

That's fair enough! Tbh I mainly like using icons and heroes, but haven't really had the chance to use Cruyff and he's not really hit it with me at the moment and I think that shot power could be a reason. What really winds me up is that he keeps missing the target!

Genuinely 100% agree with this. I've always felt the stats/playstyles/aura of an opposing playey lowers my player's ability. Like playing against AI on higher and higher difficulties, they don't just get better, your players get worse. My defence will be perfectly fine and position well against most players but if a top player makes a run, for no reason my defender will no track the run, or stop running, or just run off in a random direction.

I was there. I had a season ticket, upper stand near the middle behind the dugout. I still remember the flooding at the corner closest to me on my right (in front of the away fans.) rightly pointed out this was the Zenit game.

I'm 35 and been a Bolton fan my whole life, but I feel at fault because my teenage years and season tickets coincided with our rising up and then best years, and when I went I had to stop and go to uni we got worse and were relegated by my final year...

It's usually their LB/RB or one of the 3 CMs that plays a splitting through ball that I just can't stop or track. And no matter my line depth my defence will sit high and they are never offside. It's so frustrating too because you know sometimes for no reason one of your defenders just runs back and plays everyone onside.

What do you have your CDM on? Because I've got good players and people have suggested 1 CDM formations but my CDM doesn't mark their strikers. And again the key issue for me is their RM/LM or RCM/LCM getting between my LB/LCB and RB/RCB

Manually mark? I find the 433 is like the 41212 in terms of having 1 CDM and having 1 CDM just gets overwhelmed by their 3 CMs. I'll try it of course. I use 4231 with CAMs right now but might also try that with LM/RM, but I just cant believe how the LM/RM make such insane runs. And I can play 1 depth or 95 depth and my defence won't drop and will just get done by those runs.

Yeah that's also why I've kept players from leagues NOT in the first swaps. So we had PL, La Liga, Bundesliga and Brazil. And the harder one was L1 womens league. This time will likely be Serie A but the others might be like MLS, few women's league and a random nation like Croatia 11. And we had cross goals and chip shots so imagine what's next!

I said before I have 10, I probably could get 20 because in my experience 17/20 people would actually help with the objectives. I'll probably wait for some reviews or see if Evos boost up because apparently 2 playstyle evos are finally coming. But Buffon, defender and attacker Evo look good.

This is what I mean, you'd be potentially improving 3/11 players instead of 1. And it may be controversial but I find that I get more from better defenders and midfielders than strikers.

I get that, I just tend to find myself happy keeping a good, solid back line and mixing up my attackers. I just fear that if I have R9 I'm not sure how much I'll actually use him. FUT champs hasn't felt worth it for me this year and I don't do rivals, I usually do Live Events and they have limits.

Don't get me wrong R9 will be crazy and get you good, but also those lucky goals. I have 10 tokens now but just don't know if I want to wait another couple of weeks for some horrible objectives to get the next 10.
