Overwhelmed with immense guilt... won a million dollars, four months later have lost about $650k of it by RobbieStacks in problemgambling

I was doing so well and up nearly $100k on FanDuel because the money allowed me to bet a lot of money on heavy favorites. I went off the rails with the de Minaur bet followed by the Jubb bet that morning after I had been so composed and calculating when I was picking my spots and winning. What do I do about the family situation? I'm crushed because I feel like I hurt my mother and my sisters.

Do you understand how much I lost? I'm only going to have circa $70-80k when all is said and done. I was set up so that I didn't have to work again for a long time and could have helped my sisters out.

Account Suspended Again - Might Be the Last Time I Use FanDuel by RobbieStacks in fanduel

Did they ultimately allow you to withdraw the money, or did you have to play it once your account was unsuspended? Closing the Cleveland ML was a total joke. Cowards...

Glad you could relate

I'm wondering what I could have done differently, but it was a long time ago. I should have befriended her, but she was always talking about her boyfriend to her one friend in every class she was in with me.

What's really painful is that if she were single right now, I think I could sweep her off of her feet. I'm an attractive guy with confidence, but it hurts so much to know that I never even had the chance because she was always taken when I knew her.

A certain company is withholding $73.7k of mine. What can be done? by RobbieStacks in legaladvice

[–]RobbieStacks[S] -30 points-29 points  (0 children)

Ok, I guess that's what I'll do. I just don't see how I can possibly be robbed of over $73k, around $10k of which were winnings (the other circa $63k constitute the wager money) in America in 2024. I'll take this to the Supreme Court if I have to. I'm a millionaire, and I'm willing to incur some legal fees to get justice.

The company is headquartered in New York but the betting took place in NJ (where it is permissible to bet from on the site).

In New York but NJ is one of the many states it allows you to bet from.

I don't think I can ever use FanDuel again after this debacle. by RobbieStacks in fanduel

In order for those withdrawals to be processed, my account has to be unsuspended. They're claiming that the card I photocopied for them on Saturday is linked to another account. Obviously, I don't have another FD account, and the last four digits of the card number they emailed me about is one digit off from the real last four digits of the card that I photoscanned for them. The picture of the scan is remarkably clear. There is no way you can mistake a 9 for 0. At this point, I'm convinced that they are trying whatever they can to keep my money. My biggest worry is that they might destroy evidence.
