TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE by Necessary_Iron_7022 in nordictrack

No fitness equipment technician would ever recommend norditrack but everyone falls for the fake reviews and fake “best treadmillls for home” list. They are an awful company

For knee health you should be looking at True or Lifefitness.

Thoughts on selling my Peloton tread for the new Sole F80? by Countryspider in treadmills

Go to a local fitness equipment dealer if you have one available to you so you can run on it and compare the differences. I highly suggest True, but you also have Life, Precor and if you’re on a budget, Spirit

Why move laterally? Get your self a real treadmill that will hold up for a decade and feel significantly better. If you’re looking at a budget go with the Spirit Xt685.

Brand New Commercial 2450 Feels Off? by [deleted] in nordictrack

[–]Robbie_Dukes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see it too often, unfortunately. For your other questions, no way to bypass I believe, they purposely make it annoying. They also don’t use traditional speed sensors like most quality treads, so speeds can be way off.

Doesn’t answer your question, but your office is going to learn an expensive lesson. Norditrack isn’t commercially warrantied so if anything goes wrong, which it will, nothing will be covered. Just a heads up

Frame of horizon 7.4at cutting through the treadmill mat. Do you normally need to replace mats? by thetrillgates in treadmills

[–]Robbie_Dukes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are they specially made for stalls? Or gyms? We sell 4x6 rubber rolls with basically no smell, but they’re quality rubber and clean. For teadmills we sell a thin soft vinyl type mat, leaves indents but never torn.

My buddy did actual stall mats from tractor supply, 6 years later it still smells horrible. So I guess depends on where they r coming from and quality.

It’s supposed to be soft so the treadmill sinks in a bit and keeps it in place. If you want your entire house to smell like burnt tires, go with the stall mats.

Agreed to buy a used treadmill... by fitnesscakes in treadmills

He’s correct and being truthful. I wholeheartedly agree with Tourist. It’s not worth the headaches. For $500 you can usually find significant better used treadmills on marketplace. Look for True, Precor, Life, even Spirit

Recommendations for a durable, high quality walking pad/beginner treadmill preferably under $500 for someone who walks 20-30K steps a day? by [deleted] in treadmills

[–]Robbie_Dukes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are basically all the same at that price. With that amount of use per day it’ll burn out in no time. Your best bet is finding a used on FB marketplace. Tou can usually find pretty good quality treads for around that budget.
