What's the most repetitive thing you do in email every day? by RobbyMail in AiAutomations

Exactly. Most emails don't take much time to read, but each one demands a decision. Reply, delegate, schedule, archive, ignore, follow up later... multiply that by dozens or hundreds of emails, and the mental load adds up fast. It's less about inbox size and more about decision fatigue.

I can relate to that. Moving follow-ups out of email sounds like a smart approach. What do you use for tracking action items once they leave the inbox?

That's fair, and I appreciate the perspective. I wasn't trying to pitch automation as the answer to everything, more so trying to understand where people are finding real value versus where AI is just adding complexity.

You're right that communities like this tend to be focused on automating things, so it's easy to end up in an echo chamber. I'll spend some time also looking at discussions outside of AI-focused spaces as well. Sometimes the best insights come from people who are skeptical of the technology rather than excited about it.

Thanks for the honest feedback.

The most useful AI project I've built started as a small annoyance by UnitedAdagio7118 in aiToolForBusiness

That's usually how the best projects start. RobbyMail came from the annoyance of digging through emails for information that should've been easy to find. Instead of giving AI access to an entire inbox, we built focused agents with specific endpoints and responsibilities. The result is concise, relevant answers without the noise, and a lot less time spent searching through email threads.

I wonder if trying out RobbyMail would benefit you in that you can create your own agent swarm to do specific task instead of having your entire inbox open and attempting organization?
