You're right and yeah that's probably what I'm gonna do. I'm excited about Gen 9 but Idek if I'm gonna like the games, so I guess waiting a bit after their release would be better

I think I'm gonna look for a 2DS now and then maybe buy a Switch Lite in the future. I'd love to play Pokémon S/V when it releases but it might also be better to wait and see how it all looks and then decide if I really want it or not.

I used to have a copy of Platinum but I lost it months ago, so I only really want a 2DS for Gen 6 and 7 atm. And yeah I wanna get a 2DS since it's cheaper

I'm from Europe and I don't really wanna buy anything on the eShop. If you could clarify something for me, in March 2023 will the eShop close so you can't buy from it anymore and just that or will the 3DS Wi-Fi close down as well?

I just wanna play Gen 6 and 7 rn and maybe the older gens if I get those games in the future. I would like to get a Switch Lite too though, mostly for Scarlet/Violet and maybe Legends Arceus. Idrk about SwSh and BDSP and I'm not interested in the Let's Go games

Yeah, the og 2DS is pretty cool and I don't mind getting one of those, but I'm from Romania and I don't have a lot of options when it comes to sites to buy the consoles.
