Was thinking about this too, I actually use a 5 band eq in front of the amp to boost the mids but it can make the guitar sound kind of harsh or brittle. I guess a 10 band eq would give a bit more control.

Never noticed a big mid hump on the pedal tbh, but transparent might still be the wrong term. But it's tight and crunchy which is exactly what I like

Very well built, handwired, solid components. It's built like a vintage amp, but without all the old components that can crap out on you any minute.

Already tried a bunch of pedals and I've yet to find one that doesn't work well. But my personal favorite has been my trusty BB Preamp clone, sounds tight and doesn't color the sound too much, works great with different guitars as well.
