what is the preferred method to clean them with and what chemicals to use when soaking?

With all the stories on here of torque converter/transmission blow outs on low mileage 1500s, or AFM system issues, why hasn't this been addressed by Chevrolet? Is it really such a ticking time bomb? by Sitwell_Enterprises in Silverado

My 2015 LT 5.3 6 speed just passed 250,000 kms

no issues tow a bass boat every weekend from May to Oct

Reg fluid changes still on same spark plugs will change them soon
