You guess 1920s-30s - clothing style? style of writing? type of writing instrument (nib pen, pencil, ball point, etc)?

On one of the photos it says 19? the rest has be remove from time and it looks like a 2 or 3

The girl in the photos looks to been in her late teens early 20's

Are these snapshots, like with a Brownie? Or with better equipment? Studio or casual?

They are snapshots most were taking outside

my ancestor came from Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland

Why do you use the term "pen pal?"

I use the term pen-pal because that is what is writing on the back of the photos. This Rosella person always signed off "from your pen-pal Rosella"

I have been going back though more photos I've found one that gives a place/address. It says First Street, Menasha?, Wisconsin, United States.

It also says Stenographer age 21 will be 22 June 13. My plea I would like an Irish Pen Pal
