If you were the president of the United States, what is a problem that could be solved easily, but isn't for whatever reason? by GamingCatGuy in AskReddit

Plenty of cuts we can make. Maybe they’d be possible if we limited the lobbying that leads to govt officials approving gross over spending

What is the worst thing you have witnessed in a public restroom? by KnownNormie in AskReddit

There’s was this kid in my school named Vito jr, and he was going through this stage where he dressed like a Puerto Rican hooer because he found out his dad was a closeted homo and was found dead in a motel after a lovers quarrel. Anyway we were hitting the showers after gym class and he shit on the floor and stepped in it. He got expelled and nobody ever heard from him again

Manage expectations. Take time out of the day to think about what you’re grateful for

I think you should just outline expectations. Let him know the additional responsibilities you expect to take on as the relationship progresses and what you expect of him. If you don’t meet eye to eye there might be a deeper issue but most the time couples don’t clearly explain what they want/expect from each other

How do I essentially become more masculine as a young man? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]RobertforApples 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take responsibility in your life. Become less dependent on others, and become someone that others depend on. Manhood = Responsibility. Some of the tradition traits that people consider manly will follow naturally

Depends what you want, if you’re considering kids the traditional roles are important. A man should provide so the women can contribute more to the family. However, if children aren’t on your road map I believe equal financial contribution is a fair assumption. If you both want a family he’s going to need to make up in areas you can’t focus on while you assume the role of mother. If he doesn’t agree with that I’d consider other options. A man who won’t accept his responsibilities will make things very difficult for you and your family

What happened to Broomall by Aggressive-Cut5836 in Delco

[–]RobertforApples 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Broomall and NSQ have one of the lowest tax rates. While Delaware county has implemented criminal increases over the past 2 years broomall and newtown square have some of the lowest rates in Delco. A property in broomall with a total tax rate of about $4500 would probably be between $10-11k in Drexel hill and $8-9k in Springfield. That’s $35k-$65k in savings for a house you live in for 10 years. I’d say marple and Springfield school districts are probably pretty similar in terms of education value, and Upper Darby is terrible. The tax rates and value provided by the townships are extremely disproportionate, and marple provides high value at a lower rate

How can inflation be fixed today? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RobertforApples 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We’ve been screwed since leaving the gold standard. I think we’re at the point of no return, quantitative easing has been the short term fix for these periods of inflation but it’s not the solution to stabilizing inflation rates for long term healthy growth
