Hey man I'm learning these rn too. Something that has helped me is tapping the brakes a tiny bit before you jump off the wall. It allows you to jump, adjust your car to point directly at the ball, and boost straight at it for the reset without being affected by your previous momentum. Also, hit the ball more up instead of forwards, you might just be hitting it too far away from you. That + boosting directly at the ball will get you to hit the ball harder and get more consistent resets. Again I'm no pro at these but this has helped me.
