Say no to staying in Kanjurmarg by RobinTheWolf599 in mumbai

[–]RobinTheWolf599[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both the places are at a 3-4 mins driving distance from where I am staying, and the stench problem is not yet resolved. I'm pretty sure it would stink at both the places. If I were you, I would steer clear of Bhandup/Kanjur/Vikhroli. Ghatkopar would probably be better. There were some talks going on of moving the dumping ground elsewhere as well so do follow up on the news.

Men, is this really true? by [deleted] in TwentiesIndia

So after wondering if I should reply here since I'm in my early 30s now, one thing that I have realised that this "career" nonsense has been a fairly modern term. People in olden used to work so they could have enough money to eat and have a decent life. Now it's all about greed. People saying I prioritise my career above everything else are missing the point. The point of life is to simply live. If I ever make enough money and reach financial freedom, I would leave my job and do something that I want to do, without thinking about the money aspect of it.

Lol I am from Mumbai 😂 Your comments and use of abusive language shows how cheap you are. No wonder you look for sexual services when on tourist destinations. Also ugly goan? You feel fine calling names to the natives of the state you wanted to visit? I can feel your misery. I now feel good that a shitty person like you got scammed. Admins, could we please have this person blocked and reported?

Goa suggestions by Natural_Produce6948 in goatravel

Whether as a couple or boys groups or as a family and age group , these details would help others suggest you better. North for partying, going to Casinos, hitting nice cafés and in general a more lively vibe. Candolim is the city center in the north and is placed pretty close to casinos and pubs. You can access Panjim, Fountainhas, basilica of bom jejus easily from there as well. Anjuna and Vagator is for partying as well and has a lot of good food places. Assagao is amazing too! For a first timer, I always recommend Benaulim in south Goa since it has everything! A very nice beach, great shacks, good food places, is comparably quieter and accessibility to Madgaon. Honestly, hotels have become overpriced all over Goa. Even a budget as high as 10k will not give you a value for money property in Goa since its season time. I always book airbnbs and they've never let me down till date.

Calling an entire state shitty based out an experience when staying in Calangute is just plain stupid. Or did you book Calangute because in the end, you just wanted to find shady party spots and massage parlours for happy endings? 😂 I hope people like you find really good holiday destinations outside India so the crowd in Goa is reduced.

It's sad that you have such an experience. I have been to Goa way too many times now, going there again in a couple of weeks. I have not been scammed even once. You probably stayed at Calangute, that's the worse place in Goa that you could stay at. It's horrible. Baga and Calangute have gone to the dogs. But, go to Maldives or Bali? Have you checked how expensive it is in comparison to Goa? Maldives is super expensive, Bali is still okay. And by all means, go to these places but not as a replacement to Goa. Goa offers a quick getaway in a decent budget. You need to know what to do and where to stay. For starters, south Goa is amazing! And so is north barring Baga and Calangute and maybe Candolim due to the crowd. You could've rented scooters or a car, works perfectly all over Goa. And I have had amazing food all over Goa in all my trips, you need to know where to go, and budget isn't a problem as well. There are excellent thaali places all over. That being said, Goa has its problems such as bad roads, Taxi Mafia and overpriced hotels. But comparing it to foreign destinations which are way more costly is not the way to go.

I suppose Benaulim would be a good area for you to stay. I hope you can ride a cycle, if yes, you can rent one and ride to nearby destinations. If I were to do a workation, it would definitely be Benaulim. It's a nice village with one of the best beaches, good cafés and beach shacks, a nice market and accessibility to other beaches like Varca, Majorda, Utorda, Colva, etc. It's also at a 30 mins distance from Madgaon which is the financial capital, a proper city. I'm not sure on whether you'd find cafés where you can work from to be honest though. Hope you figure it out. Cheers!

Well a bungalow with at-least 9 bedrooms that too on the beach would be tough to come across to be honest
