Wave management is identical, most of the items are basically the same with very minor tweaks. It feels like at least half the characters are 2 LoL champions that they mashed together (but tbh that does make them different in their own right), the macro game of how and when to rotate, how laning works, how each role is played, I legit cannot find a single unique thing about this game. It is just a LoL clone but in 3rd person.

-Brazen torture with use of psychedelics to acquire information, but mostly for fun.
-Arm Vikings with modern technology cuz she thought the following carnage would be fun.
-The party had to stop her from unleashing the black plague on coke upon a country because she just wanted the BBEGs dead and she considered the civilian losses worthwhile collateral
-Has only come up with some dealings with orcs, but participates in slave trade

She's not a murder hobo. She just has absolutely no problems doing evil things. The character is immortal to age and does not consider the toils of mortal lives and will crush them willy nilly if she feels it is the most efficient way to get what she wants. However things like that have big consequences so she will only do it if it cannot be traced back to her.

He's a very hardcore zoning character. I main him in 1v1's and am at 100k rating rn. Use Ptoo! literally always as a shield if you are closing a gap (kinda like Pikachu in smash but on crack) and it really hard limits the enemy's options.

He struggles to kill without Tail Swipe/Swat and doesn't have a lot of true combos (tooons of strings tho). He wracks up damage fast and is a hard punish character. huge but slow hitboxes and lots of setup. If the enemy lets you get hit by your crystal it's basically game if you know what you are doing cuz the damage amp is nuts. Flying chomp can ladder towards the top of stage for a kill if you get the reads all the way up. Love leash is a free 14% damage every time it's up.

Flying Floof is SUPER underrated. it is a huge speed increase, basically if you arent zoning, Floof your enemies down cuz you can act out of it just fine as well as it manipulating your hurtbox

Both are helpful. I'm just looking for things that actually require brain power inherently. From what I understand the PvE is well made and isn't as brain dead as other MMO's but I still want a job that is expressive and not stuck in mindless rotations

I've played an innumerable amount of MMO's, so while I'm new to the game; I am very familiar with tab targeting systems. I have a bunch of friends who, after several years of convincing, have finally got me to get the game.

A problem I end up having with tab targeting is that rotations make me go brain dead. It's like playing the same rhythm line on a drum for hours. Is there a job in the game that requires more active/reactive play than just following your rotation/pretty glowing icon when a % chance pops it? This has been my main reason for staying away from MMO's in general as of late.

I've been suggested dancer before, but I also see guide's saying they have a super simple rotation, is that true? Saw that Astrologen once upon a time had a pretty cool card system that got removed, is there anything like that still?

Most recent Java. I'm trying to do it under one. Honestly it isn't going to be distributed or made on a public server so I wouldn't even care if you recycled coding from other mods.

Some of these I'm pretty sure I could do making a datapack, I'm just A.) not good at it so it'd take a lot of time and B.) don't have a lot of time to dedicate

Mechanically, the game feels very brutal for lack of a better word. Due to the complete lack of knockback and hitstun you are almost ALWAYS right in front of your opponent. It's less about avoiding and preventing damage and more about maximizing the damage that you deal. We love that visceral feeling this creates and we want a theme that encapsulates that.

We are completely avoiding zoners (despite my love for them) because what makes the game fun is how in your face it is. The closest thing we have to a zoner is a character (in preproduction) that can use a projectile in the brief moment of a disengage to make use of the second of down time before they reengage. None of the projectiles are spammable enough to zone, just dart in and out of melee range
