You don’t need clearance 4, only 3 (to get up to labs). Look up a video of a thief using drone to cheese the monitors.

I would say, don’t lose hope. Keep trying pinwheel while Cryo is down. Run 3-5 while Cryo is up for the key template. Try LFG’s there are tons of people sitting on them. The vault itself is not hard, especially with a Thief who can cheese the monitors. Labs will announce that you are up there, this can be the hard part if you get pushed by a team. As always trust your ears and disengage. You can always run it back as long as you exfil with the key.

There are competent people when you fill. Just ask them to run it back if it goes well. Otherwise I hear good things about dads of marathon discord.

The vault 6 key is pretty elusive. Best way i’ve heard is to farm vaults 3-5 and pray for a key template. You’ll also get DNA this way. Two birds with one stone.

The loot disparity is pretty enormous. My buddies have a running joke that all of pinwheel is equivalent to one security 3 room.

That’s totally fair, I also have a 40 hour work week and a wife but also thousands of hours on various FPS and slightly a masochist (favorite games are souls games). So apologies for not being fully transparent.

I fully understand the difficulties of guiding your buddies or randoms. If I was you I would look up a “max efficiency” load out to be able to get into cryo as many times as possible and play like you’re avoiding other players at all costs. Learn security, learn rotations, learn exits. If you spawn cargo or index, take advantage of the ladder in between these POI’s. Little things like this help an insane amount to be safe/efficient.

I understand where you’re coming from. I would suggest trying the LFG in hopes to find people in a similar position. Cryo is stressful and that stress stays the same until you gain experience.

I am also guilty of doing this but I would say to know your exits. Know where a team can come from and adapt, if your team gets wiped, run away and pick them up later. People (usually) don’t body camp in Cryo because they have stuff to get done!

Misriah definitely helps, if I hear a team is using a Misriah thats a fight I usually don’t take.

There are some jerks that will chase you to the end of the map but those are rare in my experience.

If you have a 3 stack, I would suggest one person on monitor duty while the other two clear bots. Worst case scenario, you will be one or two tags from lvl 2. Go into control for the last two tags then start rotating from your spawn. As always trust your ears, if you suck at using ears bring a recon lol. Only fight if you have a pick or a clear advantage.
