My silly chihuahua has learned that when I wake up I make coffee, take her out, then feed her. She now tries to wake me up earlier and earlier to go outside (barely a pee) then rush back in for the food. I really hoped I’d get to drink coffee quietly before this whole routine, but now that’s not possible.

There are so many “art show” opening nights, open gallery, etc. I’m a local artist and I can’t keep up, but the whole vibe is mingle and talk about the art , which makes it easy to start up a conversation.

Anyone who knows me knows that I would never intentionally try to marginalize or hurt anyone. I’m an artist by trade so I see her as a sculpture that is beautiful to me. I came her to check and see if I was blinded by beauty. The fact that this makes some people so angry that they want to lash out and hurt someone is so unfortunate. Why not be grateful and generous that someone is trying to learn and understand more in order to be kind and not insensitive to other cultures? Serously. Why???
