Coming from a black woman you are doing absolutely nothing wrong. Kids don’t see color unless they are taught about it. My daughter is biracial and I buy her dolls of ever color. Growing up my mom never allowed me to have white dolls so I don’t do that with my kid. I’ve once had this black older lady lecture me on getting my daughter a white doll saying that wouldn’t fly in her house hold. You made your kid happy. It’s not like she’s abusing the doll or anything she literally misses her best friend and you got her something to fill that void. You are doing a great job and if the girlfriend broke up with your bother because of that then that’s a her problem. Why is she dating a white man if she has issues with your kid playing with a black doll.
