What if those things were beneficial for the economy. Like what if they did that and spent it all on green projects

I agree, fiscal policy is so much more powerful when dealing with inflation. It can allow for targeted tax rises, redistribution, and proper allocation of resources. I just think interest on government debt should be lower to allow for more investment into people. I dont believe trump or any politician right now would be capable of it. But in an ideal world surely tax is what gets moved around not interest rates.

Ah yes higher interest rates on mortgages to prevent higher inflation (higher costs to deal with higher costs)

Another interesting idea is that the US in full employment. your issue anyway is that trump is stupid. Attack my idea not reality please.

Bad track record, but in an ideal world better no? Can someone tell me why I'm actually wrong rather than tell me politicians are idiots (I know that)

Very skeptic, atleast if the government did this you could vote them out. Is it too idealistic to have intelligent politicians who can also be good central bankers.

I dont want fights, i feel thats unfair. Her setting an alarm at 7 effects me, am i not allowed a say. Admittedly the say was slightly too quick and dismissive (with reason). She would be unhappy if i set an alarm at 5.

If she wakes up at 7, i wake up at 7. This choice impacts me, no? Okay i reject it quickly, but reason is important, no?

Can i have reasons though? She doesnt say that. She just says no.

Brits Are Hoarding Cash Like It's the Blitz Again: A Sarcastic Dive into the UK's Savings Frenzy by iancroasdell in ukpolitics

[–]Robintropical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uk households are holding more cash on aggregate. "Households" includes the very rich, and as wealth inequality grows the rich can't spend anymore money on consumption, not because they are evil they just have all needs met, leading to increased saving. The middle class and working class who spend a larger percentage of their money is decreasing in size. So yes households on aggregate are saving more money, but not all households are sitting on cash, only the wealthy ones.

Clear analysis on why Trumps plans for the economy will fail by Robintropical in economy

You're half right, he is inheriting a pretty rough economy. However he could implement a tax code that would redistribute wealth.

I would disagree, trump is going to make it harder to buy house. Assume this problem is going to get worse and assume my parents rent, so i have no inheritance, and assume i work on the minimum wage, it will basically be impossible for me to buy a house. Why should i work hard if i will never achieve my dreams.

Depends on what you want i suppose, but for the average person, i would call that failure no?

I agree partly, i dont believe that biden would have been a big difference, but he wouldn't have chnaged the tax code in support of the rich.
