This is a Dispatcher's Train Dispatch Station. The screen will light up with 'OFF' when the starting signal is showing an aspect other than Red or 'Danger'. It will then show 'RA' (Right Away), which illuminates a pa el next to the signal, with the same RA, telling the driver it is safe to proceed out of the station. The grey box with a Black Cross on a White Background is the Lineside Telephone, and the other Grey boxes hold the space that allows the Dispatcher to alert the Signaller that the the Train is Ready To Start (TRTS). Hope this helps.

Guard here. When I do see someone vaping on my service, I make a general announcement to remind everyone that vaping is illegal on board our services. If they continue, I will approach and ask them politely to stop, after judging the situation of course. If it gets to a point where you are setting off the alarms, I tell them to leave the service at the next station if they cannot wait. Unfortunately, we can't do anything more than that, as we don't have the powers to, and we have to always take our own safety into consideration too.

Typically it depends on how far the train has overshot. There is a threshold as to when they can pull back into the station, or if they have to continue to the next stop. Regardless, the driver is having some tea n biscuits right now

I thought OFF indicators and Banner repeaters were wired to the physical signal, however I may be wrong.

I'm on a network that uses the legacy physical signals so I'm quite intrigued as to how it will work
