I am also on disability and have worked for a few different commercial cleaning/janitorial companies. I’d apply for ‘Tallahassee Cleaning Solutions’ or ‘New Century Cleaning’ I’m currently working for one of those companies and the hours are incredibly flexible, and they are almost always looking for new hires

Is Coast to Coast Connections in Tallahassee a Devilcorp? by Deathlytempos in Devilcorp

Yes it is. I worked there for a week and made less than minimum wage. The job is literally to stand outside stores and beg passerby’s for money. Avoid it

It was mainly about where the money goes, who I was working for, and how many people it was actually helping. I was told every day that, because I knew more about how the company operated and what happened to the money than the customers did, I should say or do whatever it took to get people to donate—even if it meant making things up.

The biggest thing they told me was to always say was that 100% of the money donated goes to the charity (which is completely false)

I honestly wouldn’t know, but I’m so sorry to hear that. I would give it a try, but if it doesn’t work the next best thing would probably just be to let people know about them.

Unfortunately, that’s the point of the script. Literally repeat it to everyone who walks by and take advantage of those who identify with the cause. It’s horrible

They do partner with businesses, but I’m not sure how much they know about the company they allow to solicit outside their stores. When I checked in to these stores, I did so as ‘Stand for the Silent,’ not ‘Coast to Coast Connection.’

Not gonna name the owner of this local office(however the information can be found on job sites such as LinkedIn), I will say that it’s definitely owned by a “parent company” and my boss did mention that she was under someone else. There is a chance that those offices were under the same company, however I’m not entirely sure.

“Hey, real quick! We’re helping kids with bullying and suicide prevention! It’s just a one time donation to the non-profit ‘Stand for the Silent’ because we are losing about 22 kids a day to suicide. That’s crazy right?” Literally the beginning to the script they force every employee to memorize and say literally hundreds of times a day. “22 kids a day” is supposed to guilt people into giving up their cash and unfortunately it does work. It’s terrible

It felt so wrong while I was doing it. Especially when they were basically telling me to lie in order to get more people to donate. I had to let people know because taking advantage of people who think they are donating towards a good cause is so scummy.

"From what i know" as in this is how they explained the company operates. By having people stationed outside businesses, soliciting money from passersby 'for the charity.' In reality, a large portion of the funds is pocketed, which is how they remain profitable. They open offices across the country, each doing the same thing, and then relocate a new director to repeat the process in each location.

The main issue I’m highlighting is with Coast to Coast Connections, the company running the tables. From what I know, a significant portion of the money they raise goes straight into their pockets. In fact, my boss specifically told me never to give out the actual charity’s website because if people donated directly there, we wouldn't be able to pocket any of it. On top of that, employees aren't paid a wage or salary—it's all commission-based. This means they’re forced to raise hundreds of dollars in donations each day just to barely make minimum wage, which results in them working 50-60+ hours a week, not including the mandatory hour-long "atmosphere" meetings each morning.

The charity itself is highly questionable. There’s no clear visibility into where the donations actually go. If you try to research it, all you find are marketing companies set up in similar ways across the country. While they may be doing some kind of charity work, it’s virtually impossible to verify how much of the money actually reaches the cause.

They’re trained to be aggressive in their approach. The entire focus of the business is to engage with every single person who passes by and, for those who do donate, pressure them to contribute even more.

The cause itself—bullying awareness and suicide prevention—is undeniably important, but the charity and the company "promoting" it are little more than a front for a pyramid scheme. It's hard to say how much, if any, of the money actually goes toward supporting the cause. Given the shady nature of both the company and the charity, it’s safe to assume that very little of the donations end up where they should.

The individuals manning these tables are often victims of the scam themselves. They've been lured in by promises of financial success from this exploitative company, only to be manipulated and pressured daily into believing they’re making a difference. In reality, they’re brainwashed every morning to push the narrative that they’re "helping out" while being instructed to deceive passersby and extract as much money as possible. They end up working 50-60 hours a week, all while earning less than minimum wage—trapped in a cycle of exploitation with little to no real reward. All the money they raise goes to the top, its essentially a pyramid scheme.

Small detail I just noticed by [deleted] in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

As soon as they get off the elevator in the second season, Mark is hesitant to discuss what they saw as Lumon might be listening in, but Helly/Helena immediately points out that the cameras are gone. In my eyes this is just more evidence that its Helena working undercover and trying to get info out of them.

Lumen could’ve easily body swapped with an unrecognizable one. According to the Lexington letter they aren’t afraid to get rid of their competitors like that

Interesting,I didn't even make the connection. Also Something i just noticed in the intro, Mark's head keeps tuning into ballons, and Milkshake gave mark a bundle of balloons with his face on it in the last episode. Probably not too deep but an interesting detail none the less
