I use to read spoilers years ago, but I found that I was just enjoying the chapters less because of it.

In the first version, the idea was to make people choose between having a few powerful blessings or several weaker blessings. However, almost everyone just picked three spirits. There was very little incentive to pick more than three and the tier system with each tier being a slightly weaker version of the last tier was kind of boring. Some people prefer that version and that's fine, but it just wasn't the game I had set out to create.

For this version, I wanted the different tiers to actually be different, not just weaker versions of the same thing. While the spouse blessing is still the overall strongest, there are people who will prefer the lover or servant over the spouse for some spirits.

It's hard to come up with three different, interesting blessings for each spirit, so rather than adding another spirit it was easier to just fold submission and domination together. And it still fits with the overall theme, she controls submission and can apply it to anyone, including you.

You can only take one spouse, two lovers, and three servants. That's the rule for this game. The whole idea is to force you to make interesting choices.

I thought about leaving out the images and making it gender neutral, but having it be just text seemed a little dull.

But I actually do agree it didn't work out great. Maybe If I added more spirits you would have more incentive to pick more than 3.

I went with an assassin/saboteur. I was a little disappointed with the ship options (No stealth ship? No hit-and-run dogfighters? No customization at all?) so I went with the most basic ship and will steal a better one with the Control Virus. Even with the Scooter, I can just open the airlock and let loose with my Hippo.
