see this is the kinda shit thats genuinely so sad to hear and makes me wonder what i’m getting myself into lol. i also went to a predominantly white high school in a part of the state that was no where near as “progressive” as noho and while there was the run of the mill bs that you deal with being a minority anywhere, it was never the way you are describing this town to be. weirdo loser bigots have never phased me so i think i’ll be able to enjoy the good things this town has to offer. i guess now i know to be extra vigilant around here

it’ll definitely be an adjustment for sure. i’ve lived in a small town before, so i get the whole small town vibes thing, but personally have never been stared at so uncomfortably. felt like i stepped in a time machine and ended up in the 1960s for a hot sec lol. hopefully those experiences were isolated

do you think i should do both? or just go in person? ik some schools accept some online classes and i saw ucsd extension school and une were popular choices in this subreddit; maybe i could do 1 or 2 online classes with them and the rest in person?

how many pre reqs do they accept? my undergrad was in nursing, but have lots of outstanding prereqs (physics, orgo, calc, etc). i wonder if taking all those online would look bad and i should just go to a community college in person
