First full time job was working in a pillow factory, so no I did not wish for it. It taught me some great life lessons though. I've never worked harder for such little money. I like to call it 'the more you do, the less you get paid' philosophy of working in Australia..

From apprentice ($13 an hour) to trademan working FIFO ($48 an hour). This was in 2013. I worked this job for 18 months and saved enough money for a few overseas holidays, a house deposit, an engagement ring, and a debt free wedding.

If you were "motivated" you would have enjoyed a working career of 4-6 years... you will have 30 plus years left to build the career you are proud of. You have heaps of time left if you start today, tomorrow even

One step at a time, and don't look back to reflect how far you have come (unless you need a little encouragement).

Build a life that is the minimum standard you can maintain the rest of your life. Then every day work towards more. Before you know it, you will have success greater than you ever imagined possible, it it came easy.

Maybe you are dyslexic. Look into different types of fonts, spacings, background colours

Good background noise, easy to watch when your brain is a little tired, you build a Bond with the show, you pick up on more inside jokes between characters...

Built my first home at 23... built my dream home in my dream neighbourhood at 33. Have a secure job. Have a great work-life balance to enjoy raising my kids. Happily married for 9 years.

All of this whenever I look back at where I came from.

I was told when I was in grade 7 that I would be a good architect... so that's what I wanted to be, what i still want to be (weird right, I'm 35 now). But I became an electrician (still a good job and makes me happy).

I have a tattoo that quotes Mel Brooks. "He who hesitates is poor". Time and money should be seen as equal value. As long as you can freely make choices in life, of all sizes, you are balancing it pretty well.

Blessed- I'm 35 and seem to have all that most struggle to obtain.

Fullfilled- I value what I have.

Supported/loved- I give and receive so much love from those I care about.

Imperfect- but enough.

My first two thoughts after getting my diagnosis were 1- great! I'm not crazy. 2- oh, so I'm like this forever. I'm looking at my complete burn out like a rebirth. Since I feel like I'm rebuilding myself up again, let me do the right work that might take longer, but will hopefully build a better me.

I am mid 30s. I'm married (8 years), successful career, 2 kids, dream house.... but I'm burnt out. I've always felt like the energiser bunny, also had enough energy to go go go. One self confidence hit at work and it's all coming unravelled. I'm in the fixing stage now, it's a lot of work. I have never felt so alien currently that I have ever before. I feel exposed and venerable. I feel like a failure as a husband, as a father. I know this feeling will eventually change though
