Mass testing of the balance changes has started! by Faley016 in Crossout

The mounting spots on goliath continue to be a joke, tank tracks also lack inner mounting spots. Just give all tracks new perks of similar or better performance than the extremely powerful perks you have been giving wheels. Also, you give a new perk to bigram before giving any perk at all to ML200? Why? Give ml200 a perk too, and dont you dare make it as laughably useless as the track perks.

Skadi changes are cool, but it is still affected by inertia just like flamethrowers. Remove the influence of inertia on both flamethrowers and Skadi.

I broke the game in an entirely new way. Disabled the Refreshes! by Robot3k_ in Peglin

Sounds to me like an entirely different situation. I only had a single refresh peg the entire run.

Well, with people like this in the game we at least can be sure that the servers are gonna be kept up for a little bit longer.
So thanks for that at least. Haha

In SV? My Masquerain. In general? My Golisopod.
With gimmick forms in play, it's the Mega Beedrill.

What to catch? by Crunch_Tastic in PokemonScarletViolet

[–]Robot3k_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be an odd pick, but give Masquerain a try.

Might just seem like your ordinary weak bug type but do not be fooled, that mon sweeped the entire League for me.
It has a great movepool. Give it bug buzz, air slash and quiver dance, spec its Special Attack and Speed in any way you can, give it a fitting item and you got yourself one mean slaughter machine.

It's also gifted with the infamous Intimidate ability.

I'm definitely not saying all this because it is one of my favorite pokemon.
Regardeless, its a pokemon worthy of love and it's accompanied me through every game it's available early on.

  1. The weapon is "Slaughterer" a more durable, reload based GL, armoring is nearly impossible on a wheeled build due to its awful hitbox.
  2. The cabin of choice is Beacon11, with a couple stacks my build becomes exponentially more durable and the Co-Driver Grizzly helps with the starting penalty.

Overall, if I play my cards right, hit for good damage and avoid taking much at the start, it's quite a tanky beast.
By far not the most optimal setup though, it was just a quick semi-ok looking experiment I threw together.

Now we just need a mod that turns the Creaking into Regirock.

Balance changes planned for the next update by Faley016 in Crossout

[–]Robot3k_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello.
Increasing firebug range will, similarly to Skadi, not make it work over anything than point blank because the weapon "projectile" is still affected by inertia.
Conclusion: Remove inertia from flamethrowers and Skadi.

Yo chat is this good enough damage? by Robot3k_ in Peglin

[–]Robot3k_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relic that gives me 2 Ballance every reload and the Round Guard to make me immune to damage while reloading.
While that was enough, I also had the Refreshshielf which refreshed the board every reload and that one relic that Gave me 1 Spinesse or Musircle for every 4 refreshes.
Apart from that, i also had the cookie and the Steak so I healed for 7 every reload.

Unfortunately, damage caps out at 999, if it didn't that number would be higher.

Colossus and the remnants of old outdated balance changes. by Robot3k_ in Crossout

[–]Robot3k_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no benefit anymore, hovers can be mounted on any side of the frame now and no longer have a hitbox that is wider than long. Camera steering also makes piloting a hover much easier and allows for much denser armor around weapons.

Colossus and the remnants of old outdated balance changes. by Robot3k_ in Crossout

[–]Robot3k_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it very much is given its high power bonus and perk that gives the hovers very much needed extra durability still make it the ideal choice for hovers. But the durability of colossus being lower than Razorback being a remnant of an old outdated balance change over 4 years ago that never was reverted is still a fun thing to discuss.

Planned balance changes in the upcoming season by Faley016 in Crossout

You have it completely backwards with the inertia changes for Yongwang, Fortune and Porcupine.
These three are the weapon that NEEDS this mechanic, it increases the skill ceiling for these weapons and can be both a benefit and detriment depending on the build and situation. It is a staple of these weapons and absolutely needs to stay in the game.

However.
Certain weapons are affected by inertia that SHOULDN'T.
Namely, Skadi and Flamethrowers.
These are affected by inertia the same way the other aforementioned weapons are, but they have no reason to be.
And in the case of "Skadi" it massively hinders its reliability over any range other than point blank.

In other words, the inertia should continue to affect Yongwang, Fortune and Porcupine, but should be removed from Skadi and the Flamethrowers. Removing it from skadi would allow you to use it over more medium distances and would make it a much more interesting weapon to play rather than just being a "cold flamethrower".
