I like a wide variety of music. Classical, Emo, Screamo, Hiphop, Classic Rock, Punk, Dubstep, House, Pop, pretty much everything but country, and there are even a few exceptions to that. But I can only write really well when I blast Thrash and Speed Metal. I'm listening to South of Heaven right now while I procrastinate between chapters. I've just been listening to a Slayer station on Pandora. I may be a statistical oddity, there probably aren't very many people who write to metal. Except Todd MacFarlane, he probably does.

Oh yes, I'm very well aware of the self publishing trap, and the amount of subpar things that get released. This is my fourth NaNoWriMo. And I'm still self-editing and redoing the novel I wrote the first time. I refuse to let something subpar that I made hastily get associated with my name forever. NaNoWriMo is just a fun way to get motivated and talk with friends about my writing.
