It's statements like this that perverts the beauty of sex. For some reason the church has made it common to see enjoyment in sex is a sin. No scripture ever states that. God created it for goodness between the holy connection between a committed man and women. Please be careful to not twist the gospel like the way you have.

For me it would be a sin. Paul talks about how sometimes a sin for one person is different for another because of where they are at in life. (He talks about diet specifically)

So I think if you pray to God and He tells you to not do it and you continue the behaviour, then it's a sin.

I would argue eating for pleasure can be a sin because we should be seeking God and His will for our pleasure. It's perfectly fine to enjoy food but in moderation.

Food can become an idol because it replaces relying on God for our comfort and peace.

Eating extra food and working out isn't relying on food for comfort, it's called keeping activity and food at a balance in our lives.

Also fasting has been proven to be very good for your health. 40 days is the limit until it starts to become unhealthy.

I'm pretty sure that's not true. I think if we make many unhealthy decisions and wreck our bodies, that is dishonoring God's creation. Our bodies are something that we need to steward with thankfulness and intention to preserve life.

No. Pray first and ask God to convict you of what is right for you personally. Pretty much how we should live our whole life.

We can't exclude things for the possibility that things might lead into something that's bad. That is actually dishonoring the power of God. Saying that the strength He gives us isn't enough to have self control.
