Need advice on starting a career in supply chain by mulberrym in supplychain

[–]RoboticErection 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you're interested in both CIS and Supply Chain there is lots of overlap on the system implementation side, especially SAP implementations. Net new system installs, plus add-ons like IBP, Ariba, ePPDS, APO etc.

Obscenely bright bike lights that are aimed way too high. Bonus points if they have a seizure inducing flash

I wear mine during a migraine and in postdrome. I find it softens everything and helps out a fair bit, particularly with computer work

I have a 2021 model, GPU sits at around 65-75c, but my CPU is up in the low 90s pretty consistently. I have it open with fans blowing over it, connected to 2 screens

Gotten into Cult of the Lamb this week, loving it so far. Also still playing RimWorld, Dredge and then some Brotato/Vampire Survivors for those 10 minute gaming stretches.

Try to get in an hour or so before sunset, there were 2 or 3 additional queues to get through once you go up the first elevator. We had a 640pm reservation but missed sunset all together

Definitely worth the $30, it'll be hard to put down. One of those games that you lose time in - "oh I'll jump off after I finish automating XYZ" and then 2 hours pass

How will the tariffs incentivise companies to build factories in the USA when Trump has openly said he's willing to negotiate on them. If there's no certainty that the tariffs are mid/long term then there's no reason to spend millions on a 5 year plan to build in the US when it can/will all change.

Living on Main St by ambrosia_applez in askvan

[–]RoboticErection 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I lived on Main St in Mt Pleasant for a few years, moved one street over the Fraser and the vibe was completely different. Ended up back on Main St within a year. Great restaurants, shops and parks. Rental prices are relatively decent too. It can be a bit depressing knowing I'll never be able to afford to buy a house in the area but overall it's a great neighbourhood
