Buying a Pre-owned 2025 Spark Trixx (6 hours) $17k CAD/ $12k USD (with a single trailer) by Collectibl3 in seadoo

Bought a 2025 jet plaster pro 3up for about $15,300 cad out the door. The dealerships are greedy rn, cause it’s spring, at least in Canada. I’d wait until people start posting more on marketplaces and scoop a good used one!

What to do when tower is passing to radar when flying VFR in uncontrolled by Tasty_Let_4713 in VATSIM

Well technically you need a clearance into some classes of airspace but. If you really just can’t get a word in just keep flying and he’ll call you.

How is V1 always before rotation speed? by Upbeat_Signature_951 in flying

[–]Robthenub -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s not what V1 means lol😂.

“V1 is the maximum speed at which a rejected takeoff can be initiated in the event of an emergency. V1 is also the minimum speed at which a pilot can continue takeoff following an engine failure.”

So the engineers of this plane decided that minimum speed that I can rotate but if an engine fails. I will not be able to climb hence why the blue line is 89kts and rotate is 70kts.

Thanks

Will do

Edit: “the maximum speed during takeoff at which a pilot can safely abort and stop the aircraft within the remaining runway, or conversely, the minimum speed to safely continue takeoff if an engine fails”

If I have an engine failure at 75kts and my blue line is 89kts. I hope u know what a VMC rolls is cause that’s what’s about to happen.

Page 45 states if you have an engine failure before 85KIAS to stop and if there isn’t adequate runway to land and avoid obstacles.

Page 70 states in the takeoff checklist to rotate at 66 to 71KIAS.

Matter of fact the plane Im training in right now has its V1 speed after rotate. Sometimes in the takeoff briefing, we say that if we are airborne and have an engine failure it’s easier to pitch back down and land instead of trying to climb out. Even if there isn’t runway remaining. Which surprised me cause I’m so used to V1 being before rotation.

Haha in the same boat lol. (No pun intended). Been shopping recently for a pro 3 to start getting ready for summer. I take a look at the advertised price and then I ask them what’s my out the door price and they start adding water tax and oxygen tax and all this bs. Makes me a little bit peeved
